Why bitumen emulsion?
Due to its high breaking and drying speed (between 2 and 8 hours), the absence of oil or diesel in its composition, the absence of any need for heating during storage, transportation and spraying, and the use of water in this product, emulsion bitumen is suitable for all secondary and main roads, highways, freeways and airports. It is easily and quickly used for single coat (coating), prime coat (penetrating coating), fog seal (spraying), cold asphalt mixture, surface asphalts, thin layer asphalts, and mulching and dust control applications. Compared to products such as soluble bitumens (RC bitumen, MC bitumen and SC bitumen), emulsion bitumen is much cheaper, more convenient and has much higher adhesion.
Why soluble bitumen?
Due to the high percentage of pure petroleum bitumen (or 60-70 bitumen) in it, the bitumen can stain the surface with a larger amount of bitumen remaining after drying on the sprayed surface. In addition to domestic sales of MC bitumen, Setareh Sabz Juybar Industries Company has set its main goal on exporting bitumen (MC) such as MC-30, MC-70, MC-250 and MC-3000 and has exported to various African countries so far. The main application of bitumen is for single coat (coating) and prime coat (penetrating coating) and some building moisture insulation. Bitumen with a viscosity above 100 centistokes must reach a temperature of at least 80 degrees Celsius in order to be well diluted and sprayed on the surface with appropriate fluidity.
What is 70/60 bitumen?
Pure petroleum bitumens (or penetrating bitumens) with various penetration degrees (such as 50/40, 70/60, 100/85, 120/100, 200/150, 300/200) are obtained through the process of air blowing or oxidation into VB bitumen and then concentrating it. Asphalt, soluble bitumen, emulsion bitumen and polymer bitumen can be produced from pure petroleum bitumens.
